Under Article 82 of the Rules of Racing, if a trainer considers that training fees have not been paid:
- The trainer must send a form to France Galop including: name, number of invoices concerned, and total amount (invoices less than 8 months old).
- The trainer must provide proof of two prior reminders, including one sent by registered letter.
- France Galop will summon the owner to settle the outstanding amount or justify their situation.
- If no payment or justification is provided within 10 days, the owner may be placed on the opposition list and their approvals may be suspended.
Special cases: Veterinary, farrier, or stud farm invoices are not covered by France Galop.
