The temple of jump racing
Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Auteuil racecourse is the reference site for jump racing in France.
Inaugurated in 1873, it hosts every year the biggest races of the discipline and is one of the must-visit venues for owners, professionals and enthusiasts.
Auteuil has notably hosted legendary races such as the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris, making it an emblematic site in the history of French horse racing.
📍 How to get to Auteuil?
By public transport
The racecourse is easily accessible from Paris and the Île-de-France region:
- Metro: line 10 – Porte d’Auteuil station
- RER C: Avenue Foch station
- Bus: several lines serve the area on race days
During major race days, specific arrangements may be put in place. We recommend that you plan your visit in advance.
By car
The racecourse is accessible via the Bois de Boulogne and the Boulevard Périphérique.
Parking is available on race days.
As an owner, parking access may be provided upon presentation of your card, subject to availability.

On the day your horse takes part in a race, you benefit from specific support.
Badges are allocated to you to allow access to:
- the stables
- the parade ring
- areas close to your horse
They are to be collected at the racecourse on the day of the race at the weighing office.
